Air cylinders (also known as pneumatic cylinders) are a type of piston. Their reciprocating motion is powered by compressed gas.

These switches when fitted to the outside of a magnetic cylinder allow position sensing of the piston. The M/50 range come in 2, 5 and 10 metre lengths or a plug type. Options include temperature resistant or ATEX approved versions.
