Why do pressure gauges need to be calibrated?
Over time, your pressure gauge might lose accuracy through usage or external factors, such as changing temperatures or movement. Calibration and re-calibration delivers peace of mind that your pressure gauge is providing accurate readings.
What traceability standards are pressure gauges tested against?
Our calibration certificates are issued according to EN 837-1.
How often should I get my pressure gauge calibrated?
We recommend recalibration at least once a year to ensure accuracy.
How does Parker calibrate pressure gauges?
We use oil to carry out our calibration process. As a result, we do not recommend submitting water or steam pressure gauges for calibration due to potential contamination concerns.
What are the minimum and maximum bar pressure gauges Parker can calibrate?
We can calibrate pressure gauges ranging from 10 bar up to 700 bar.
Can you calibrate digital pressure gauges?
Yes, we can.
How long will it take to calibrate my pressure gauge(s)?
Please allow up to seven working days for calibration to be completed.
